Does SnapPilot upload every screenshot?

Core screenshot capture/editing can be performed locally in the extension. Features such as public recording sharing require upload to the SnapPilot service.

What is the difference between Full Page and Scrollable Areas?

Full Page follows the main browser/page scrolling surface. Scrollable Areas lets you explicitly choose one independent panel.

What is Area only?

It outputs only the selected independent scrolling panel.

What is With page context?

It keeps the surrounding viewport visible while extending the selected scrolling area downward.

Can I stop a long screenshot without losing everything?

Yes. Use Stop & keep, or press Esc, to finish with everything captured so far.

Can I record only my camera?

Yes. Choose Camera Only and select a layout.

Can I blur my camera background?

Yes. Camera Only supports background blur and a custom image background.

Do Auto Subtitles require the microphone?

Yes. The released subtitle capture uses microphone speech recognition.

Can I edit a recording before sharing it?

Yes. Sharing from the editor uses the current edited recording state.
