๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Troubleshooting

Start here when SnapPilot does not behave as expected. Most issues fall into one of four areas: capture target selection, browser permissions, camera/virtual background, or sharing/transcript state.

When troubleshooting, reproduce the issue on one page first and note the exact SnapPilot mode you used. This makes it much easier to distinguish a page-specific behavior from a general extension issue.

๐Ÿ“œ Full page capture

The image stops too early

  1. Make sure the latest SnapPilot version is installed.
  2. Refresh the page after updating the extension.
  3. Return the page to the top and retry.
  4. If the page contains several independent scrollers, use Scrollable Areas for a specific panel.

Complex dashboards

Modern web applications can place the real page scrollbar inside an embedded workspace rather than on the normal browser document. Recent SnapPilot Full Page improvements are designed to handle these layouts while preserving the outer application context.

Page keeps loading more content

Infinite-loading pages can keep increasing their height during capture. SnapPilot includes safety limits to prevent endless capture. Use Stop & keep when you have captured enough content.

Extremely long page

SnapPilot may produce multipart output for reliability. Use Galleryโ€™s Download all as PDF when you want one document.
